The BART Police Department responded at 8:15 p.m. to the shooting in the bus zone, according to the Bay Area Rapid Transit District. One man found shot was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Antioch Police Department is searching for suspects in connection with the shooting, BART said.
BART officials announced that the Antioch station was closed at 8:41 p.m. due to the police investigation.
BART service was stopped between the Pittsburg/Bay Point station and Antioch during the investigation. Passengers were advised to seek alternative transportation.
As of Monday morning, BART service is resuming in the area.
