When recreating an old arcade game, it is important to keep the spirit of the game intact and to ensure that the originality of the game is not disturbed. The creators obviously need to expand the game a bit as well in order to attract new users and to keep the old users intrigued as well. All of these things have been done masterfully well by Genico with Bounce Classic. The game is absolutely the same as the original in terms of its classic 11 missions. They are the same in terms of the layout and the placement of all the hurdles. The originality is intact in this regard with even the graphics and the color scheme also very much the same. The game developers though have expanded the levels even more after the first eleven so that users who want to keep on playing also have something to look forward to.
Bounce Classic comes without a tutorial and while it may seem that new users would struggle as a result, this is simply not the case. The primary reason is that it is so simple to play that anyone would get the controls from the get-go. There are two buttons to move the ball left and right while there is a jump button to move the ball in the air.
The gameplay is the same as the original as you are required to move from location A to location B while avoiding all hurdles and obstacles. You need to avoid moving objects as well as thorns so that the ball doesn’t burst. You can change the size of the ball when needed in order to move through tighter spaces.
Features:
Excellent adaptation that stays true to the original game
Great emulation of the graphics and color scheme of the original game
Easy and simple controls
Good background sounds
Three mission layers with the original mission containing 11 rounds (as the old arcade game)
Conclusion:
Bounce Classic is an excellent recreation of the original arcade game that we all used to play on our phones. With multiple gaming levels, good graphics and simple controls, this game is here to stay on your phones!
