Person injured after road rage shooting on Hwy 4 near Concord
(KRON) — A person was injured after a road rage shooting Wednesday afternoon on Highway 4 near Pittsburg and Concord, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP). The shooting happened around 2:24 p.m. on the eastbound lanes of the highway near Willow Pass Road (Concord) and San Marco Boulevard (Pittsburg).

After the shooting, the victim exited the highway and stopped at the Arco gas station on W Leland Road where medics were dispatched to, CHP said. The victim was then taken to the hospital to treat a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

No information about a suspect is available at this time. No other information was immediately available.
