Fresno Fire rescues dog from burning home
FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A dog was rescued from a Fresno house fire that left two people displaced Tuesday afternoon.

Just after 4 p.m., Fresno Fire arrived to smoke and flames pouring out the second-story windows of a home in the 300 block of N. 2nd St.

Inside was the homeowner’s dog.

Firefighters entered the burning building and carried the dog to safety. Crews say the occupant also made it out safely.

Crews were able to contain the flames to a single room, but two people have been displaced until repairs can be made.

The fire was caused by an electrical issue.
