NC Highway Patrol up for votes in ‘America’s Best-Looking Cruiser’ calendar contest

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — The North Carolina State Highway Patrol is ready for its close-up.

The agency is participating in the 2025 “America’s Best-Looking Cruiser” calendar contest in which the 13 states with the most votes get featured in a 2026 wall calendar.

The contest is run through the American Association of State Troopers and will remain open for votes through 5 p.m. on Wednesday, July 11. The #1 vote-getter earns the cover shot.

This year’s photo submission from the NCSHP was taken atop the observation deck at Chimney Rock State Park in Rutherford County. It features the patrol’s Ford Mustang and Ford Police Interceptor SUV.
