Man faces homicide charges in disappearance of Pennsylvania woman

COLUMBIA COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — A man is facing homicide charges in connection with the disappearance of a Pennsylvania woman.

Vincent Lloyd Harp, 39, of Bloomsburg, was taken into custody Sunday night by state troopers and faces criminal homicide and tampering with evidence charges.

State Police at Bloomsburg said the charges are in connection with the disappearance and death of Katlyn Harp.

Vincent Harp was arraigned and denied bail. He was committed to the Columbia County Prison.

Katlyn Harp had been missing since June 19, troopers said, when she was last seen in Bloomsburg.

An extensive search was launched which included special units from the State Police, including the Special Emergency Response Team drone, the aviation unit, and a K-9 unit.
