WOMELSDORF, Pa. (WHTM) — One person was killed and another injured in a crash Saturday evening in western Berks County.
The crash happened around 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of Route 422 and North Water Street in Womelsdorf, about a mile east of the Lebanon County line.
According to the Womelsdorf Volunteer Fire Co., one occupant was ejected from their vehicle in the two-car crash.
One driver was killed and another taken to an area hospital with injuries, the fire company said.
The road was closed until about 11:30 p.m. as police investigated.
Womelsdorf Police and the Pennsylvania State Police are investigating.
