By rssfeeds-admin SOMERSET, Ky. (FOX 56) — Over 1,000 cars and hundreds of spectators crowded downtown Somerset on Saturday for the 2025 Somernites Cruise.
The annual event drew visitors to witness a recreation of the historic Dukes of Hazzard car, the “General Lee,” jump over the fountain square.
John Schneider and Byron Cherry both made an appearance at the event, which also featured classic cars of all makes, models, shapes, and sizes.
If you missed the adrenaline on Saturday, car show organizers have another event planned at Fountain Square from noon to 6 p.m. on July 26, and admission is always free. Check out the Somernites Cruise website for the full summer schedule and other information.
