FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — A 25-year-old woman was arrested in connection with a December 2024 burglary of an Annandale home, according to the Fairfax County Police Department.
Police say Alesssandra Ciuciu has been charged with burglary, and officers are still searching for the second suspect, who has yet to be identified.
On Dec. 27, 2024, shortly before 3 p.m., a burglary alarm was triggered at a home in the 3300 block of Elm Terrace in Annandale, where the homeowner saw two people entering her home through surveillance footage.
Police said that after the alarm sounded, the burglars ran away.
Ciucui was identified as one of the suspects, and a warrant was filed for her arrest. On June 10, Montgomery County officers saw Ciucui, and she was taken into custody.
She is being held at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility without bond as she awaits extradition back to Fairfax County.
