Man arrested in string of package thefts across Fairfax County

FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — A New York man was arrested Wednesday in connection with a string of package thefts in Fairfax County, according to the Fairfax County Police Department.

According to police, a patrol supervisor saw a man riding an electric scooter shortly before 1 p.m., matching the description of a suspect in a series of package thefts in Springfield and Annandale.

The man, identified as Luis Sena, 25, was stopped in the 7900 block of Richmond Highway in Hybla Valley and taken into custody.

Sena was charged with grand larceny and fugitive from justice. He was transported to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center, where he is being held without bond.

Anyone with information is asked to call the West Springfield Police Station at (703) 644-7377 and ask to speak with a detective.
