If you’re wondering how WGN’s Tom Skilling keeps busy in his retirement, he enlists his former coworkers.

Jackie Bange is WGN’s resident daredevil, and she’s responsible for Tom’s adventure.

She’s made more than 2,000 jumps since she got hooked on skydiving decades ago.

And on the night Tom retired, he mentioned he would finally have time to go up with her. So, of course, she jumped at the chance to show him firsthand the atmosphere he spent 50 years studying.
