11 arrested during retail theft mission in Salem

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A retail theft mission resulted in 11 arrests in Salem on Thursday, Salem police announced.

The mission took place at the Willamette Town Center.

Police say several of the people who were arrested also had existing felony warrants for prior crimes.

Those arrested ranged in age from 26 to 50.

The previous project, in March 2025, resulted in the arrest of six people.
