13 arrested, 25 grams of crack cocaine seized during Portland retail theft mission

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Portland police led a retail theft mission on Thursday that resulted in 13 arrests and nearly $4,000 in recovered stolen merchandise.

Authorities also seized 25 grams of crack cocaine during the mission.

“The primary focus of the mission was to address retail theft, as well as open-air drug use and trafficking, in the Pearl District, Old Town, Pioneer Square, and Downtown Portland,” police said.

Police say they are working with the Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office to ensure prosecution in each of these cases.
