JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Capitol police are investigating after a man was critically injured during a shooting.
The shooting occurred on Mitchell Street in Jackson before 10:00 p.m. on June 25.
Bailey Martin, press secretary for the Mississippi Department of Public Safety (DPS), said officers located a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to a nearby hospital and listed in critical condition.
Martin said no arrests have been made at this time. Investigators believe the suspects left the scene in a blue Honda Accord.
