One injured in shooting near Tombigbee Street in Jackson
JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Capitol police are investigating after one person was injured during a shooting.
The shooting occurred near Tombigbee Street on July 30.
Bailey Martin, spokesperson for the Mississippi Department of Public Safety (MDPS), said officers located an unidentified person suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Martin said no arrests have been made. Anyone with information about the shooting can contact Capitol police at 601-359-3125.
