Where to find cooling centers to beat the heat

(WOWK) – With extreme heat settling into the area, some communities are starting to establish cooling centers for the upcoming week ahead of an Extreme Heat Watch.

WOWK 13 News will continue to update this list as we learn of more cooling centers throughout the region.

Cabell County:

  • 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, June 25
• First Steps Drop-in Center at 730 7th Avenue
  • 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, June 23, through Friday, June 27
