Suspect in child porn case re-arrested after release on bond
FRANKLIN, La. (KLFY) — A Franklin man has been arrested for allegedly possessing child sexual abuse material.
Ra’Quan Ar’qua Prejean, 18, of Franklin was arrested at 3:16 p.m. this evening on a warrant for two counts of possession of pornography involving juveniles under the age of 13.
According to authorities, on June 5, deputies were dispatched to a residence in Franklin, which resulted in the arrest of Prejean for the charge of indecent behavior with a juvenile. Prejean subsequently was released on a $20,000 bond.
Officials said as the investigation continued, a detective discovered child sexual abuse material on an electronic device owned by Prejean.

As a result, a warrant was obtained and today detectives made contact with Prejean and transported him to a St. Mary Parish jail for booking.
Prejean’s bail was set at $75,000 with a no-electronic-device condition.
