Mystery dome spotted after severe weather rolls through central Indiana. What is it?

INDIANAPOLIS — A mysterious domed object is enthralling residents after it appeared on the corner of 19th Street and N. Pasadena Street Thursday night.

FOX59/CBS4 spoke with a neighbor who said it is a “radome” that fell from a nearby property.

According to Radome Services LLC, a radome is a structural, weatherproof enclosure that protects a radar system or antenna. However, this one does not appear to be protecting any radar systems or antennas.
