BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — June 18, 2025 — Constellation Stage & Screen is bringing ABBA back to the big screen this summer with a one-night-only sing-along screening of Mamma Mia! (2008) on Saturday, July 12 at 7 p.m. at the Waldron Arts Center.
The interactive event invites audiences to sing, dance, and celebrate the feel-good musical that follows a bride-to-be searching for her father—set to a soundtrack of ABBA’s greatest hits including “Dancing Queen,” “Super Trouper,” and “Lay All Your Love On Me.”
Fans are encouraged to arrive early to participate in a themed costume contest and a finish-that-lyric challenge, and to take photos at a pre-show photo booth. The bar will offer themed cocktails, and the entire evening promises a high-energy, disco-fueled atmosphere ideal for girls’ night out, mother-daughter bonding, or just a joyful night at the movies.
Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door, with general admission seating. Attendees can purchase tickets online at SeeConstellation.org, by phone at (812) 336-9300, or in person at 122 S. Walnut St.
The film is rated PG-13, and all ages are welcome to attend.
Constellation Stage & Screen was founded in 2022 through the merger of Bloomington Playwrights Project, Cardinal Stage, and Pigasus Institute. It now serves as a regional hub for live theater, film screenings, and performing arts education in South Central Indiana.
