WATCH: Crews extinguish fire at former Fresno restaurant

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – The site of the original Jeb’s Blueberry Hill restaurant burned down early Friday morning.

Crews were called to the former family eatery on the 3800 block of N. Blackstone Ave. around 1:40 a.m. after multiple witnesses reported smoke and flames coming from the building.

Firefighters arrived to find heavy fire fanning out of the front. They were able to prevent the fire from spreading to other businesses, but the building suffered major damage by the time all flames were extinguished.

This was the second time the location caught fire. In May 2024, when the site was still a restaurant, part of the building caught fire. At the time, officials suspected arson.

The cause of the most recent fire is still under investigation.
