SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – The Shreveport Police Department is actively searching for a man they say is connected to a shooting from early June.
Just after 10:00 p.m. in the 1100 block of Fenwick Drive, officers responding to a call discovered a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
Detectives with the Violent Crimes Unit were called to the scene and immediately launched an investigation. Through their efforts, detectives identified Darelyn Washington as the suspect.
An arrest warrant has been issued for one count of Attempted Second-Degree Murder.
Washington is considered armed and dangerous.
