Man shot in Fresno neighborhood, police say

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A man was shot in a Fresno neighborhood on Thursday evening, according to the city’s police department.

Officers responded to Griffith Way and Crystal Avenue after receiving reports of a shooting.

The Fresno Police Department said a man was shot and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The status of the victim and the circumstances that led to the shooting are unknown at this time.
