By rssfeeds-admin The victim of a drowning in Hardy on Monday has been identified. Sharp County Dispatch received a report of a possible drowning at Buford Beach, located on the Spring River around 6:30.
Emergency personnel from multiple agencies responded to the scene. After an extensive search, the body of Justin Toney was recovered from the river at approximately 8 that evening. Toney was transported to a local emergency room, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
The incident remains under investigation by local authorities. No further information is available at this time.
