By rssfeeds-admin GILLIAM, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – Northwest, Louisiana’s first-ever artist-designed gateway will be unveiled this weekend.
Local artists created the one-of-a-kind sculptures. They will soon mark the entrances to communities throughout Caddo, Bossier, Webster, and Claiborne Parish along the Boom or Bust Byway. The pieces include reflections of the town’s history, culture, and character.
The unveiling takes place Saturday, June 14 at 10 a.m. at Linda Lay Church in Gilliam.
The event is hosted by Shreveport Regional Arts Council, Visit Shreveport-Bossier, and the Parish of Caddo.
