(KRON) — The California Highway Patrol Oakland Area office said its officers arrested an impaired driver who was going 91 mph in a 65-mph zone on Interstate 880 near High Street.

CHP Oakland said the incident happened at 3:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 31.

After the suspected driver of the speeding vehicle exited at 29th Avenue and came to a complete stop, officers said a car search uncovered “a loaded .40 caliber handgun in the glovebox and two bags of ketamine stored in the driver’s door.”
