Radar indicated tornado in Jones, Fisher & Stonewall Counties Sunday night

BIG COUNTRY, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – Multiple radar-indicated tornadoes have struck the Big Country on Sunday, along with damaging high winds of 80 to 90 mph.

The Tornado Warning issued for Jones County and Fisher County, which was in effect until 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, has now expired and has been replaced by a Severe Thunderstorm Warning. There is also a Flash Flood Warning in place for Fisher County.

According to Meteorologist Dylan Smith, this storm is bringing 80 to 90 mph straight-line wind gusts.

The Tornado Warning issued for Stonewall County earlier today has now expired and has been replaced by a Severe Thunderstorm Warning. For those seeking shelter tonight, the Aspermont High School is open.
