By rssfeeds-admin INDIANAPOLIS – Police are conducting a death investigation after a person was found unresponsive in a body of water this weekend on the near south side.
According to an incident report from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were dispatched around 4:15 p.m. Sunday to 602 E. Pleasant Run Pkwy. N. Dr.
They found a male dead in a body of water near Indianapolis Fire Department Station 29. IFD personnel assisted in removing the body, police said.
The Marion County Coroner’s Office will make a final determination on the cause and manner of death. The coroner didn’t have information on the person’s age or identity.
The case remains under investigation.
