One dead, dog seriously injured in San Francisco crash

(KRON) — A man is dead and a dog was seriously injured from a two-car crash that happened on a Highway 101 offramp in San Francisco Saturday.

The crash occurred around 11:44 a.m., when a white Dodge Charger exited the southbound side of Highway 101 near Paul Avenue at a high rate of speed, the California Highway Patrol told KRON4. The Charger hit a concrete wall and continued into a car stopped at the offramp stop sign.

It’s unknown at this time if drugs or alcohol were a factor in the crash.
