PHILADELPHIA (WPHL) — Philadelphia’s Franklin Square has some new modern restrooms that are now open.(getty)
On Thursday, city leaders held a toilet paper ribbon cutting ceremony.
The $2.2 million facility replaces the outdated restrooms that dated back to 1976.
It features expanded men’s and women’s restrooms, a gender-neutral and family restroom, and dedicated storage for maintenance.
The new restrooms will provide relief for the Square’s 700,000 visitors ever year.
