Fort Campbell soldier charged for alleged child exploitation

PADUCAH, Ky. (FOX 56) — A Fort Campbell soldier has been charged with enticement and sexual exploitation of a minor.

A grand jury in Paducah returned an indictment for 23-year-old Cameron Lawrence on April 15.

LATEST KENTUCKY NEWS:

On Friday, the United States Attorney’s Office said Lawrence was charged with one count of enticement of a minor, two counts of attempted enticement of a minor, and two counts of sexual exploitation of children.

At his initial court appearance on June 3, Lawrence was ordered to be detained pending trial.

If convicted, he will face a minimum sentence of 15 years and a maximum sentence of life in prison.
