According to Entergy, a few customers along a stretch of U.S. 90 are still without electricity, but the majority of the outage has been restored.
ORIGINAL STORY: BROUSSARD, La. (KLFY) — A power outage has left over 2,000 customers in the Broussard area without electricity.
The outage is centered along U.S. 90, from approximately Lafayette Regional Airport to just north of New Iberia. It affects 2,291 of the 17,382 customers in Lafayette Parish, according to poweroutage.us.
All of those without power are customers of Entergy. The cause of the outage is not yet known.
