FREEPORT, Ill. (WTVO) — Freeport Police shut down roadways near the 1700 block of S. Galena Avenue on Thursday morning for what was described as an investigation into a “critical incident.”

Law enforcement was seen to have blocked off the parking lot of Elite Storage, a U-Haul rental agency.
