Downtown Burlingame road shuts down due to emergency gas leak

(KRON) — A Burlingame road is closed due to an emergency gas leak on Wednesday afternoon, according to city officials. PG&E is responding to the incident in the area of Donnelly Avenue between Lorton and Primrose.

The road closure is in downtown Burlingame, where many of the city’s restaurants and retail shops are located. Parking garage access will remain open, city officials said.

The downtown Burligame gas leak is about 2.5 miles away from where the massive tree fell on a pickup truck in San Mateo.
