Silver Alert issued in SF, San Mateo for at risk man: CHP

(KRON) — The California Highway Patrol has issued a Silver Alert for a 78-year-old at risk missing man who was last seen in Burlingame. The alert was activated for San Mateo and San Francisco counties on behalf of the Burlingame Police Department.

CHP says Robert Newman was last spotted at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the area of Trousdale and California drives and is believed to be walking.

Newman is described as 5-feet-7-inches tall, weighing 170 pounds, and with gray hair and blue eyes. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a gray shirt and black pants.

Anyone with information on Newman’s whereabouts is urged to call 911.
