Odunde Festival begins 50th anniversary celebration

PHILADELPHIA (WPHL) — The country’s largest African American street festival has started its 50th anniversary celebration.

Sunday, the Odunde Festival kicked off its celebration with a free yoga class at LOVE Park. People gathered at the park’s green space to learn different yoga poses.

On Monday, organizers of the festival are hosting a panel with Philadelphia radio personalities Patty Jackson, Lady B, and Mimi Brown at Avanna Restaurant on the Ben Franklin Parkway.
