Barn fire damages Montgomery County animal rescue

TOWAMENCIN TWP., Pa. (WPHL) — A barn fire broke out in Towamencin Township around 3 p.m. Sunday.

The barn was part of Pawsibilities Animal Rescue. The non-profit organization posted on social media that the barn was a sanctuary for farm animals and cats, and belonged to the organization’s owner.

As of Monday afternoon, it is not clear how many animals were injured.

Pawsibilities Animal Rescue announced it is reassessing the damage and has created a donation page.
