Overturned big rig blocks WB 92 connector to SB 101 in San Mateo County

(BCN) — An overturned big rig is blocking rush hour traffic Monday morning on the westbound Highway 92 from the San Mateo Bridge to southbound Highway 101, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The truck overturned shortly before 6 a.m., blocking all southbound lanes on the connector ramp. A Sig Alert was issued around 6:20 a.m.

It’s not known when the road will reopen. An alternate route for motorists is to exit on Edgewater, taken northbound Highway 101 and then turn at Third Avenue, the CHP said in a traffic advisory.
