Clinton County man arrested on forcible incest charges after nearly 10-year search

ALBANY, Ky. (FOX 56) — After nearly 10 years, law enforcement arrested a Clinton County man on Friday who is accused of incest with a minor.

At 4 p.m. on May 30, the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office arrested 56-year-old Antonio Velasquez of Albany, according to a Facebook post. The investigation into Velasquez was started in 2016 by the Kentucky State Police.

An investigation into a possible scam initiated by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office led authorities to call Albany to verify a transaction at an area business, according to the post. With the assistance of numerous agencies, the investigation ended with Velasquez being found and arrested.

Authorities said he had two active warrants for his arrest after being charged with two counts of incest—forcible compulsion of a minor.
