Sunday will start out with drier weather again and plenty of sunshine. Temperatures will climb quickly and will reach the mid 80s during the afternoon hours. A quick-moving system to the north will push through during the afternoon hours. This could trigger a few showers and storms during the afternoon hours, but most of the areas will stay dry.
Through the next week, we won’t see many rain chances around. Each day, a pop-up storm or two will be possible as temperatures approach 90 degrees in the afternoon. Better rain chances return for the end of the week into next weekend. Hurricane Season begins Sunday in the Atlantic Basin. The outlooks for this season are pointing to an above-average season again. However, it only takes one storm to make it a memorable season. Make sure you are stocked up on your supplies and have your hurricane preparedness kits ready just in case!
