MADISONVILLE, Ky. (FOX 56) — A Madisonville man is facing a sexual abuse charge after allegedly watching pornography with a minor in the room with him.
According to an arrest citation, Preston Darnell, 31, told the police that he knowingly watched pornography while fully naked with a 10-year-old in the room on May 11.
In the citation, Darnell also admitted to gratifying himself with the minor in the room.
Jail records show that, on May 27, he was booked into the Hopkins County Jail and charged with:
- First-degree sexual abuse – victim under the age of 12
- Distribution of obscene matter to minors
Court documents show that he’s being held on a $20,000 cash bond and is due to appear for a hearing at 9 a.m. on June 6.
