At the start of the game, you can only ride a single bike while the others remain locked. However, you can easily unlock them by collecting helmets. The more helmets you have, the speedier the bikes you get to unlock. In order to collect the necessary number of helmets for unlocking advanced bikes, you have to earn ‘kill’ points. These points can be earned by bringing down the other bikers on the road. These depend on the proximity of the biker. If the biker is close you get 5 but if he is far away, you will get only 1.

Death Moto provides various weapons that you can use for taking down the other bikers. These weapons include baseball bats, machetes, and even swords. In order to throw the weapon towards the biker, you need to first collect the weapon and then target the biker by getting in line with it. You can get closer to the bikers by using NOS. There are NOS cylinders littered on the roads which you can collect for refilling your nitrogen tank. When getting a speed boost and targeting the other bikers, do look out for the traffic on the road. If you get into an accident, you will fall and end your run. You can resurrect yourself by watching a video advertisement or spending helmets.
