Freeport Police find shooting evidence; investigation underway

FREEPORT, Ill. (WTVO) — Freeport Police responded to a shots fired alert on May 24th.

Officers were sent to West Pleasant Street to investigate the scene around 11:43 p.m.

Authorities found evidence that a firearm had been discharged.

Officials are still investigating the shooting and have yet to announce a suspect.
