Suspects in attempted carjacking near Treasure Island detained on I-80

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Suspects in an attempted carjacking that occurred near Treasure Island were detained on I-80 Friday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol. The CHP assisted the San Francisco Police Department in the arrests.

All suspects involved in the incident have been detained. Photos of the scene shot by a KRON4 producer showed the suspects in custody on the side of the road on I-80 near Berkeley.
