FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – The man killed after being struck by a train in Fresno earlier this month was identified by the Fresno County Coroner’s Office on Wednesday.
The coroner’s office identified the man as Wyatt Kilgore, 18, of Fresno.
On May 16, the Fresno Police Department responded to the train tracks near Herndon and Polk avenues shortly after 10:45 a.m. after receiving a report of a pedestrian struck by a train.
Upon arrival, officers report finding Kilgore, who had been struck by the train. Kilgore was pronounced dead on the scene.
This is an ongoing investigation.
