Leo Rednour was with his family of six when the tornado touched down watching from what was once his living room as the storm grew closer to his home of twenty six years.
“I was listening to Wayne Hart on the TV and all of a sudden… boom,” said Rednour. “It was right here in my house and it just cleaned up everything out of here”
Once the tornado started to rip through their home, Rednour knew he and his family had to act fast.
“I got in the hallway and put my hands over everybody and it started blowing the windows out,” said Rednour. “You want to talk about praying? I prayed hard on anything I could ever do.”
Although Rednour’s home is lost he knows he’s not the only one going through this experience.
“I just pray to God that everything, everybody is safe,” said Rednour. “Everything can be replaced.”
After getting himself and his family out from the rubble, Rednour says he is thankful to still be alive.
“It makes me feel good that I’m standing here talking to y’all,” said Rednour. “Because I didn’t think I was going to be.”
