By rssfeeds-admin NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Video released by the New Orleans Police Department on Friday, May 16, shows what led to a chase and ended with a burglary suspect jumping into the water at West End Harbor.
The video is body cam footage from an incident on April 26, when NOPD officers were reportedly answering a call on Breakwater Drive, where a man was allegedly committing a burglary.
The suspect eventually ran out the back door jumped off the balcony onto a boat and then into the harbor.
A few hours later his body was found under a dock.
