Villanova Commencement delayed due to severe weather watch

(WPHL) — Villanova University’s commencement is being delayed until 1:30 p.m. as a severe thunderstorm moves through the area.

“Due to the anticipated forecast, and to allow a severe weather system to move through the area, we are delaying entry to Villanova Stadium until 1:30 p.m.,” said Villanova University Commencement in a post on X.

“Due to the anticipated forecast, and to allow a severe weather system to move through the area, we are delaying entry to Villanova Stadium until 1:30 p.m. For the safety of our graduates and guests, we ask that you do not line up too early in advance. To ensure that everyone has time to be seated before we begin, we will have a slightly delayed start to the ceremony. We will continue to keep you updated if there are any additional changes to the schedule.” Villanova said.
