GLUCKSTADT, Miss. (WJTV) – A man, who is suspected of several thefts across the Jackson-metro area, was arrested on a felony shoplifting charge.
Gluckstadt police said Darrell Darnell Carter was recently arrested by Jackson police on unrelated charges. He appeared in Gluckstadt Municipal Court for a felony shoplifting charge on May 14.
Investigators said Carter stole more than $1,200 in merchandise from Ace Bolt & Screw in Gluckstadt on April 30 and May 5. He is suspected of similar thefts at the Richland and Jackson locations.

Police said Carter, who has a lengthy criminal history, received a $150,000 bond.
