By rssfeeds-admin BRANDENBURG, Ky. (FOX 56) — Human remains were found in a Meade County field over the weekend, and investigators are still working to identify who they belong to.
Brandenburg police said on Sunday, officers were called to Old State Road after a caller reported finding the remains.
Police said there are no active missing person cases in the area, and it’s too early to tell if the remains are connected to any prior investigation.
Authorities are working to confirm an identity and cause of death — a process that could take days or even weeks.
