HUMPHREYS COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – Humphreys County deputies arrested two women in connection to the stabbing death of a man.

The incident occurred at Willow Bend Estates on May 10, 2025.

According to investigators, deputies found the victim in the road outside of his home. He was identified as Eric Jenkins, 41, of Belzoni.

Deputies arrested Deonnia Hornes and Demika Pearson, of Leland, at the scene. They were charged with murder and booked into the Humphreys County Jail.
